Primar, from the Latin Primarius, is the Romanian title for a communal mayor. PRIMAR is also an abbreviation for Public Responsibility in Medicine and ResearchPrimar Primar is an international cooperation for provision of a consistent, timely and reliable official Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) service for sea transport and operation. Their core aim is to provide the maritime community, through authorised distributors, with an ENC service recognised for its quality, user-friendliness and overall contribution to marine safety and efficiency on a global level. The service has been in full operation since (1999) April 2002, and include today ENCs from more than 35 countries.
